Are you a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility? We are a non-profit organization rooted in the Asian community for 40 years. Our mission is to honor, support, and advocate for our Asian elders and families by offering culturally and linguistically appropriate healthcare services in a healthy living community. We operate an age friendly campus which includes a Nursing Home and Supportive Housing facilities. Additionally, We offer Home Care, Social Services, and Healthy Living programs serving Asian seniors in our community.

The Administrator is responsible for leading the Rehab and Care Center (RCC) and Supportive Housing (SH) businesses at our organization. This position serves as a member of the Leadership Team and reports to the CEO.

Responsible For
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Operating RCC and SH in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and supportive housing facilities.
  • Providing management direction and supervision to the activity, dietary, environmental, nursing, and social service departments.
  • Overseeing and guiding department managers in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
  • Evaluating the job performance of direct reports (department heads).
  • Working with residents and family members to ensure our services meet their needs.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, family members, and employees.
  • Promoting a positive public image of our organization and representing the center in the community as required.
  • Ensuring facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Prioritizing customer service, ensuring residents and families receive the highest quality care in a compassionate environment that respects their needs, rights, and autonomy.
  • Staying informed on legal requirements, employment laws, and government regulations to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with the human resources manager to align RCC and SH's HR processes with corporate policies.
  • Working with finance and marketing teams to ensure consistency with corporate financial and marketing strategies.
  • Supporting our mission, vision, strategy, and core values as part of the Leadership Team and Board.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including customers, government agencies, suppliers, board members, staff, community partners, competitors, volunteers, donors, and partners.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
  • Three years of work experience in the Long-Term Care settings (SNF) and two years supervisory and management experience required
  • Has an active/unrestricted Washington State Nursing Home Administrator license
  • Must Administrator experience working at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) after 2020.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
